JEWELRY CARE, CLEANING & STORAGE

I will be continually adding to information on caring for your jewelry as well as a wealth of knowledge on where my design elemnts, such as where and how the Thailand Karen Hill Tribe silver pieces came to be, healing properties of gemstones - and a lot of other useful and interesting information as the days go by. Be sure to check back.

These pieces can be cleaned with a warm, soapy [non-detergent] cloth, wipe dry. Please DO NOT use chemical dips, liquids, gels or other harsh jewelry cleaners. You do not need a jewelry cloth to clean these pieces - but one can be used on the metals [pewter, silver and fine silver] if you'd like. If you cannot find a good jewelry cloth [Sunshine Polish Cloth is a good one] I can order one for you. You can also use lime juice alone to clean the fine silver.

~ Nickel Free. ~

SILVER: When a piece is designated to contain silver you can be sure I only use Sterling (.925 percent silver w/ the balance copper) and higher grade 'Fine Silver' (such as Bali or Turkish .955 purity or Thai Karen .999 purity) in my work. I DO NOT use lead or nickel based silver products. On Request to conserve costs I can use Nickel free peweter or silver plated base metals.

Keep it in the airtight bag provided between wearing. Please Don't wear it in the shower, swimming, or in salt water as it May break down the molecules in precious metals. Wait to adorn yourself with it until you have finished Applying hairspray, lotions, perfume and other lovely things! With care and a little love this piece should last you for years and years.
